Dance Dance Revolution
DDR is one of my favorite games. I play it as much as I can, as long as I can. Great exercise. I started playing after being introduced to it by my friend "Flip" in high school. I think it started around 10th grade. Anyways, my local q-zar has had a DDR machine since I can remember. At first it was DDR 4th mix Plus. Then in 2002 they upgraded to the new Extreme. Unlike most players, I prefer to play Double. Not many people can do it. It's much harder as you must move your center of gravity around the pad, which takes more energy. Using a single pad your center of gravity stays stationary and you just twist around basically. After I left for the Air Force, Q-zar eventually switched to In the Groove. A DDR spin-off that I don't like. I went home on leave in April of 2007, and to my enjoyment, they brought back DDR, but the newest Supernova! A version I didn't know existed. They also got the Extreme machine in the back!
Videos
These videos I took at my local Q-zar. It's a laser tag place. Best laser tag ever, and best DDR spot that I know of. I went right when they opened with nobody around so I can video myself without drawing attention. I used my video editing to add the actual steps over the video. I played the songs in Stepmania to create the steps and used FRAPS to capture it.
