I drove there again. Made it to just passed Kingman on highway 40. Went a different route this time. I like the route but I have to go through a lot of small towns along the way. I think the trip is a tad longer, but I also don't have to go through Phoenix and LA. And it's a cooler route going north.
I hung out at grandma's house the first week. Saw my cousins, mom, bro, aunt, grampie, everybody. Did some awesome Go carts. Umigoracing.com is their site. Those carts are fast. Very good pricing if you go when they have their specials.
Did some paintballing. I was a little upset since my marker wasn't working. The first time I've ever had problems with it. I think I'll end up reverting back to the standard hammer and sear instead of the MQvalve.
Went to McCloud in northern California for July 4th. Met a bunch of new people. Dad got a new toy. Polaris RZR. Makes me want to get one someday. He rides that thing all along the trails up there. He spends most of his time up there now. It's a good place to live. He takes care of his tenants up there, only coming back when he has too.
Did some lake fishing. He learned the trick over the years I can tell, he knows where to go. We used to troll around the whole lake for awhile, maybe catching a few. But now he can limit out in a few hours. The tiny trout are a lot smaller than the salmon we used to catch. But it's more relaxing this kind of fishing is.
I brought up my planes. Got peer pressured into flying in a very small area. Almost crashed one but saved it. Even ran it into a tree. The hydro flew very nice from the lake. An amazing little airplane I built from scratch. I flew it at the lake by the zoo here just yesterday.
Had some dinner at Trish and Minor’s place my last Sunday there. Kacie is growing up pretty quick. She’s at the stage I think where she might have a tiny crush on me, like I used to on my step-sister. Ordered some pizza, watched the Boondock Saints.
I also went up to Train Mountain with Grampie, my cousin and little bro. 6 hour drive to Oregon. It was a very neat experience. It’s a huge area with Acres upon acres of land. And whoever started it, started a 7.5 inch railroad. The trains are big enough to ride and take you throughout the place. The track layout is awesome. It goes around the campsites, along the roads, under numerous tunnels, through the freight yard, everywhere! I found it to be a blast actually. Cousin wasn’t that into it. The bicycle they made for the track was the best. Next time I visit I’m hogging that thing and going on the entire track with that thing.
I actually didn’t take any pictures at all. I may have to steal some from my family. I’m always hurting for pictures of me. But, that was my trip to California. I came the same way on the drive back. So, a year’s worth of vacation gone… sigh.
Job still going good. Started a new project since I last posted. We’re going to integrate a lot of systems into one web based system. This will be a very slick deal, and I can’t wait to see the end result. First day back was good. I’ve already booked up yesterday completely. Kinda sucks but, what can you do.
I got my passport in. I got it just in case I want to do any short notice trips. I have friends in England which wouldn’t mind having a guest over. I could easily go there probably. I would kill for some more vacation.
I still have to fix the ABS light on my car. The right front sensor is still probably the culprit. I haven’t givin’ Wilma a car wash in awhile, actually over a year. I vacuum from time to time, just haven’t washed her yet. Still chugging along. Awesome car for $3000. I’ll never buy a new car at this rate.
I’m still considering other jobs. I’m very interested in going overseas still. I do enjoy working for the city right now and I’m not sure if I should leave it. But I gotta keep my options open. If I didn’t have my TS still, I’d probably be hunkered down by now.
Blink 182 concert is in September! I’ll go by myself if I have to. Kristin can’t go, and Chris might not want to go er something. I don’t know. WE might have friends that might want to go I dunno. I’ll be able to rock out at this concert since by now, I know all of their songs by memory. Can’t wait. I’ll have to take a day off for sure.
Alright, That’s it for now. Remind me to make more of these when you can! I just forget I have one of these from time to time.

( 2.9 / 1097 )And I have nothing planned.
I since forgot about reenlisting. I could do some hunting and figure out why I can't join. But, I'd be better off on the outside. Much more freedom, and much better control of my own career.
I've started a new hobby. Well not completely new. I purchased some simple electric park flyer airplanes. Very fun. I normally fly at a local park or on a soccer field at ACU. I've always wanted to venture into it, but only recently have small electric planes become viable. I wanted to start simple as I'd be training myself. I did buy the best simulator on the market to help. It was worth every penny of the $150. Haven't crashed, yet.
Work is going good. Everyday I'm becoming a bit more needed, a bit more in demand. Ever since the Exchange migration, I've been on some project. Scott was gone this week so I've been doing just about everything this week. I took monday off to take my last certification exam for MCITP:EA. Scored a rediculous 929. I'll take a short break and continue on to more Exchange exams or go on to the Cisco side of the house.
Chris and Kristin finally got a pool. An above ground pool that's 17ft across, and roughly 4ft deep or so. It's huge really. Good deal for what they paid I think. I'm sure they'll be having tons of fun this weekend, although it'll be raining some.
Just giving an update. I'm on lunch at work currently.

( 2.7 / 1024 )I'm debating about reenlisting. I submited some paperwork to get the process started. I'm unsure of what will happen, but if approved I'll probably be rejoining. I had a dream about the Air Force after I found out they had a spot open, it was tough to sleep. But we'll see what happens, if approved, it'll be yet another bigchange for me.
My running has improved. I ran a 29:54 and a 29:53 4 mile last week. I beat Max 300 finally on DDR. I could say I'm almost in the best shape of my life...
I came home and took a short nap at my desk. Head on the table, headphones half on, napping. Chris came in and woke me up, damn him.
Anyways, tootles.

( 2.9 / 716 )I have come across another opportunity in my life. I would say it is the 3rd most important decision that I'll have to make. I'll spend the next week or so deciding. I will post tomorrow giving an update on life.

( 2.8 / 488 )Everyone got a kick out of me on Saturday, I had fun. I just had an urge to post on my website, so I did. Another, "How the hell is this going to bite me in the ass" moment came up. I could imagine a prospective employer reading this and everything. If they wouldn't hire me because of this personal crap, then I wouldn't want to work for them anyways.
So I met this girl in Haskell, she's great. She lives in an awesome bachelor pad of a house. I've visited her twice. We'd hang, eat a pizza, watch movies on the couch. She has a home theatre PC setup, it's sweet. I want to set that up again, but I just haven't yet. Stayed over one night, I slept on the couch, and didn't have a problem with it at all. The thing is, the drive sucks. It's doable in my opinion but, it's shakey. I'm leaning towards not doable in my opinion and what I want. So, I'll have to give it some more thought I guess. I've done long distance, that doesn't work. I haven't done medium distance though. But distance is always bad.
The comment about Chris' sister, well, I'm not sure. I think when you're hammered a bit, the truth comes out sometimes. Especially the me missing the AF truth, damn it got really bad once I got my reserve ID. I dunno, I feel like I've wasted almost a year of time in which I could have possibly been dating someone that wasn't wasting my time. Meh...
